Pathfinder Wellness is a private yoga therapy practice that offers individual and small group yoga therapy, yoga instruction, and walking meditation.

Yoga Therapy
$175 for one session
$375 for three sessions
Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals toward improved health and well-being through the practices of yoga. Our partnership begins with a thorough assessment of each client’s physical, energetic, emotional, and spiritual well-being. A personalized plan of care is then co-created with the client and may include yoga postures, breathing exercises, mindfulness and meditation, journaling, and more. Practices are selected based on the unique needs and interests of each individual or small group.
We offer single sessions, packages of 3 sessions, or will work with clients to create a customized package. The initial session lasts 90 minutes while follow up sessions last 60 minutes. Sessions can be in-person or virtual.
Private Yoga Instruction
$125 per hour
Private yoga instruction is an option for beginners and advanced practitioners that are seeking personalized yoga instruction or guidance based on their specific needs and goals. Unlike group classes, private yoga sessions provide one-on-one attention, allowing us to focus exclusively on the client’s unique interests.
Private yoga instruction is also an option for yoga teachers seeking mentorship and support with class planning, sequencing, self-care, and more.
Meditation Hikes
$40
Connect to awe in nature. Our adventures in the woods combine mindful walking with meditative awareness, turning the simple act of walking into a focused and calming practice. It is a form of meditation in motion that emphasizes being present in the moment, connecting with the body, breath, and our natural surroundings.

Who we are
Hello!
My name is Alyson. I practice. I teach. I love yoga.
I have dedicated the last 15 years to consistent yoga study and teaching. I am C-IAYT certified, an E-RYT500 yoga teacher, and I have earned a B.S. in Mass Communication from Boston University, an M.S. in Health Promotion Management from American University, and an M.S. in Yoga Therapy from the Maryland University of Integrative Health.
My personal yoga practice and self-discovery began in my early 20s at a time when I was working in a corporate job and running a lot. It was just the complement that I needed to undo the stress of work and the impact of running. It wasn't until I became a mom, though, that I really started to connect with yoga and its capacity for self care and well-being. As I have aged and my family has faced ups and downs, I am continually amazed by how yoga has the unique ability to support me physically but also to calm me mentally and emotionally through all of life's transitions.
I am a wife and mom to two beautiful, active boys that keep me very busy. When I have time to myself, I love to be outside. The local hiking trails are my favorite places to wander. I enjoy reading all things yoga related, as well as true stories of inspirational people in the world. And, I love to dance. For me, dancing - just like yoga - is a joyful form of movement that challenges me physically and lifts me up spiritually.
